Fresno Bariatrics: Reviews, Costs 2022

In accordance with the standards of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program, it has been decided that both Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital and Clovis Community Medical Centre have satisfied those requirements. This program, which is housed in the Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, is one of the busiest in California and serves patients from all across the state of California.

The Fresno team of bariatric surgery specialists performs a wide range of operations, including Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery, sleeve gastrectomy surgery, lap band surgery, and other weight-loss procedures.

Treatments Covered at the Fresno Bariatrics

SLEEVE GASTRECTOMY

Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, sometimes known as “the gastric sleeve,” removes around 80% of the stomach during surgery. A tubular pouch like a banana can be found in the residual stomach. Brain hunger and appetite centers might be affected by the sleeve procedure. In other words, your body gives in to your brain’s wants and ceases resisting them.

ROUX-EN-Y

The roux-en-y gastric bypass has been shown safe and successful for most patients. Our surgical team has conducted this surgery for over 20 years and has world-class ability.

DUODENAL SWITCH

One of the most successful procedures for weight reduction and metabolic syndrome is the BPD/DS (or, BPD/DS; or, duodenal switch), however, patients may have to deal with more frequent dietary concerns.
