Dr. Hector Perez is a board-certified general and bariatric surgeon practicing in Tijuana and Cancun. Dr. Hector Perez has performed thousands of bariatric surgeries with patients from all over the world. His bariatric experience started with the “bariatric” boom in the 2000s with the Lap-Band Surgery. Since then, Dr. Perez has performed various bariatric surgery types including the roux-en-y gastric bypass, the single anastomosis gastric bypass, gastric sleeve (vsg), gastric balloon, and revisional surgeries.
Dr. Hector Perez studied medicine at the Mexican Faculty of Medicine, La Salle University in Mexico City, completing his training in 2000. Dr. Perez regularly presents his bariatric findings to medical community in Mexico. Dr. Hector Perez currently works with Renew Bariatrics, and regularly teaches bariatrics to students in Mexico.
