Telehealth GLP-1 Review: Found

Written by Dianne on April 17, 2026 — Medically Reviewed by Dianne

Found has been providing its services for longer than many other companies.

It was founded in 2019 when GLP-1s were still becoming popular. In other words, it was already established as a unique company based on an original concept. Obesity treatment is complex and it can vary from person-to-person. That’s why there cannot be a single medication that will work for everyone.

But while the remainder of the telehealth industry rushed to put the name “semaglutide” (or more accurately, a brand name) on virtually anything that would have semaglutide as an ingredient, Found arrived at the table offering something a little different: 13 different types of weight loss medications in 60 or more different possible combinations.

That variety by itself is worth more than most folks realize!

How It Works and What It Costs

The onboarding process starts with an online health questionnaire, moves to a clinician review, and lands on a personalized medication plan within a few days.

Found accepts insurance, which immediately puts it in a different category from the cash-pay crowd.

Membership runs $99 to $129 per month depending on the plan, and that does not include GLP-1 medication costs. Generic medications are bundled into the membership, but GLP-1s go through insurance or cost extra out of pocket.

Brand name alternatives include Wegovy, Zepbound (also known as Tirzepatide), Ozempic, and Mounjaro. Found also shows you prices for NovoCare Pharmacy and LillyDirect pricing of Wegovy and Zepbound. They sell Wegovy for $499.00 a month, and their price range for Zepbound is from $349.00 to $699.00, depending on how many vials you want as a cash pay member.

Labs with Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp will typically cost you anywhere from $85.00 to $150.00 when needed. If you quit early, take note that there will be an $89.00 penalty (and this is not clearly visible in your sign-up process).

Prior Authorization and Insurance Navigation

Found uses its own clinicians to find prior authorizations if they are required by the insurance company. When the clinicians send documents that relate to a prior authorization, the clinician will also be involved in the prior authorization (PA) process on behalf of the member.

Found does not have a multi-appeal plan (as does Calibrate’s Insurance Navigation Team), however, the platform has built-in infrastructure for assisting members who encounter insurance denials as part of the membership experience and not as an after-thought.

Titration, Off-Ramps, and Non-Responders

Found’s model is simple: a doctor determines how much to give a member as opposed to an automated escalator. Members are allowed to ask for changes in their medications and/or dosage at every time that they see a doctor, and the platform also includes this option at any point in their subscription period.

There isn’t a formal tapering protocol or maintenance-only membership tier established by the company for members using the platform. The company does have access via the formulary for non-responders of semaglutide to use tirzepatide, and has many different options available within its large library of medications.

What People Are Saying

Found currently is rated at 3.7/5 stars by over 600 reviewers.

Many reviewers have indicated that they had an average to somewhat above average overall experience. More specifically, many reviewers complimented the care given by the staff as being caring and supportive in a personal way, and many also complimented the non-judgmental atmosphere and feeling of community provided by the location.

However, other reviewers complained about high prices and billing errors, so that’s something to be aware of.
