Medical Cosmetic Enhancements is a wellness and cosmetic clinic that specializes in performing body contouring, liposuction, skin rejuvenation, and providing medical weight loss treatments. Founded in 2003, Medical Cosmetic Enhancements provides patients all over Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia with invasive and non-invasive treatments for aesthetic concerns. Medical Cosmetic Enhancement is well-known for its use of advanced body sculpting technologies including SlimLipo laser liposuction, CoolSculpting Elite, Renuvion J-Plasma, and prescribing semaglutide-based weight loss regimens.
Medical Director
Drew Varano, M.D., is the Founder and Medical Director of Medical Cosmetic Enhancements. He completed his Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University prior to attending Penn State College of Medicine. Dr. Varano completed his residency at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital and has completed further training in the area of neurology at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Varano is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
Through the use of Semaglutide (which is in the GLP-1 class of medicines), participants complete a medically supervised weight loss program to help regulate their appetite and will help with sustainable weight loss through education and access to non-surgical/less invasive medical weight loss options and body-contouring interventions.
Combining non-surgical medical weight loss with body-contouring interventions creates a complete transformative program to accomplish participants’ goals in as short of a time frame as possible. Medical Cosmetic Enhancements has created an effective program to help participants reach their weight loss goals, as well as improve the appearance of their skin and body shape after the participant has achieved their goal weight through non-surgical medical weight loss.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
The pricing for these procedures at Medical Cosmetic Enhancements varies based upon the treatment area, the technology used, and whether or not the procedures are surgical or non-surgical. Semaglutide is not priced on the website, however, the fat reduction / body contouring procedures’ pricing can be viewed on the Medical Cosmetic Enhancements website. Liposuction procedures range from approximately $2,400 to greater than $6,500 depending on the area treated and the complexity of the procedure; and CoolSculpting treatments start at approximately $450.
Patient Reviews
A high number of patient reviews from Google and Yelp detail the knowledge, skill set and professionalism of Dr. Varano and his practice. A good portion of these reviews describe the experiences of patients who underwent liposuction, CoolSculpting, and skin-tightening treatments; each wrote about the changes they noticed in their body’s shape and their level of confidence post-procedure. At many of the clinics, there are positive remarks regarding staff support, communication and care provided before, during and after surgical procedures.
