
Dr. Lawrence Brotherton interests include endoscopy as well as a wide array of both open and laparoscopic general surgery procedures as well as emergency and trauma surgery. He has attending physician privileges at St. John Medical Center, St. John Owasso, St. John Broken Arrow, and Claremore Regional Hospital. Dr. Brotherton is an associate member of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Oklahoma State Medical Association, where he serves as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Dr. Lawrence Brotherton graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana in 1995. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas in 1999, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. From 1999-2004, Dr. Brotherton trained as a resident in general surgery at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program based at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and was a Chief Resident there from 2003-2004.
