Overview
The Houston Weight Loss Center provides medically supervised weight-loss programs in a way that supports the patient’s overall health upon pursuing a healthy weight. The center provides customized weight-loss programs based on the patients individual needs through the use of nutrition, lifestyle modification, medication/supplementation, and counseling by medical professionals. With three clinics located throughout Houston, Katy, and Webster, Texas, the clinic provides individualized programs to meet each patient’s desired outcome of weight loss.
The Houston Weight Loss Center uses clinical evaluations, nutrition education, behavioral modification techniques, and medication therapy when appropriate to provide patients with a comprehensive approach to the treatment of obesity and to assist in the management of weight loss.
Medical Director
The Medical Director of the Houston Weight Loss Center, Dr. John Bergeron, is responsible for overseeing the medical aspects of the clinic’s weight-loss programs. Dr. Bergeron has worked closely with patients requesting non-surgical obesity treatments since the center opened and is highly regarded by his fellow medical professionals (not to mention he has earned his position as one of the top liposuction surgeons in Houston).
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
Houston Weight Loss Center has weight loss programs that feature the use of GLP-1 medications and offer individual consultations and medical evaluations, prescription options, and personal guidance using one-to-one support. Some of the GLP-1 medications available through the center for patient weight loss include semaglutide and liraglutide. The medications are part of a medically supervised weight loss program, which requires developing a healthy diet, providing support from a dietitian or other lifestyle support expert, and regularly monitoring progress.
In addition, the Houston Weight Loss Center also has other prescription medications available to eligible patients (such as phentermine or other weight loss medications) available as part of the overall weight loss plan that, combined with a nutritional program, may be provided to patients. A body composition scan and/or a medical laboratory with a specialty in the field of weight management may also be required for the completion of your weight loss program. Patients may also receive personalized coaching from their healthcare provider, typically as part of their appointment.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
While Houston Weight Loss does not provide a complete list of program prices for our website due to the variability caused by the medication regimen and any other additional factors (i.e. consultation, medical requirement, and prescription combinations), the cost of GLP-1 medications can vary based on the medication prescribed by the provider; therefore, you should evaluate your cost with the provider before making your final decision.
Patient Reviews
Many patients give the staff at Houston Weight Loss Center credit on Google and Yelp for providing consistently supportive support, individualized care, and thorough follow-up to patients during their weight loss journeys. The clinic’s website has multiple testimonials from patients regarding their successful weight loss journeys, many of which indicate they lost weight at a steady rate each month, gained greater self-esteem, etc.
