Set Point Medical Weight Loss Clinic provides physician-guided weight management using evidence-based weight management treatments. Located in Folsom and Roseville California, the clinic focuses on the biological factors that contribute to gaining weight, such as hormones, genetics/metabolism/aging/lifestyle. While Set Point uses diet and exercise as part of the treatment plan, they design individual treatment plans that produce sustainable/long-term success. Medical Director

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

Set Point utilizes GLP-1 receptor agonists as the primary drugs in their weight loss programs, including Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, to treat obesity once a comprehensive medical evaluation has been completed. These drugs work by suppressing the appetite, controlling blood glucose levels, delaying gastric emptying, and speeding up metabolism, and making eligible patients more likely to lose weight than without the use of these medications. All treatment plans are individualized and will vary based on the patient’s individual needs including but not limited to the following components: regular follow-up appointments, nutrition counseling, monitoring of progress throughout the treatment period, and additional services including lifestyle coaching, B12 injections, red light therapy, and other wellness therapies. 

Weight Loss Program Pricing

Costs for GLP-1 weight loss programs vary and therefore Set Point provides no standard costs for its weight loss programs on its website as these costs will vary based upon the medication prescribed, the dosage of the medication and the individualized treatment each patient receives. Set Point advises that an initial consultation at a medical weight loss clinic generally costs $100 to $300. New patients may be eligible for promotional discounts, including $99 off their first month of anti-obesity treatment with Semaglutide through the VIP Wellness Club.
