Dr. Erick Sanchez graduated second in his class from medical school at Louisiana State University & completed a 5 year residency in general surgery at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge. He completed a 3 year Fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of West Virginia. Upon completion of his residency, he became board certified by both the American Board of Surgery & the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has worked in multiple hospitals across the Greater Baton Rouge area, and has had over 10 years experience in aesthetic surgery. He has a reputation for providing his patients with “natural appearing” results in such procedures as breast augmentation, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), body contouring procedures & cosmetic facial surgery. 

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

Erick Sanchez, MD Plastic Surgery is a membership based, medically supervised weight loss program using GLP-1 injections as part of their overall strategy for weight loss. Before starting the program, each patient gets an extensive medical evaluation, including labs, and then is given a customized treatment plan. The weight loss program consists of compounded GLP-1 injections for weight loss, follow-up appointments with a licensed nurse practitioner once a month, the management of the medication, guidance on nutrition and activity, and continuous monitoring of progress. Patients have the option to pick up their injected medication at the clinic or to have a nurse administer it to them. In addition, patients are eligible for discounts on select aesthetic treatments. 

Weight Loss Program Pricing

The clinic does not provide the public with information about the monthly membership fee of their GLP-1 program. However, the clinic does charge $150 for their initial consultation, which provides patients with a comprehensive medical evaluation and assessment before beginning the program.
