Overview
Aura Laser Skin Care is a medical spa located in Kirkland, WA and providing services to patients in Seattle and surrounding areas on the East Side of Lake Washington. Their focus is on both aesthetic dermatology and wellness-type treatments (non-invasively) that improve not only the appearance of skin, but also body shape and self-esteem. Aura Laser Skin Care has a medically supervised weight loss program utilizing GLP-1 medications (i.e., semaglutide) that is intended for patients who need help with appetite control, weight loss management, or metabolic health. This program is designed to help patients safely lose weight in a timely manner while under the continuous care of professional medical providers.
Medical Director
Aura Laser Skin Care’s Medical Director is Dr. William A. Wien, D.O., a board-certified family physician with over 30 years of experience (both traditional family medicine and aesthetics). Dr. Wien graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine in Wilmington, DE. He served in the USAF Medical Corps and gained extensive clinical experience prior to opening his private practice.
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
Aura Laser Skin Care provides a structured medical weight loss program incorporating semaglutide and tirzepatide injections (GLP-1 receptor agonists). The program starts with an assessment and medical checkup to confirm eligibility for treatment. Patients will follow a treatment schedule that consists of instructions for dosages, education about how to administer the injections, and subsequent follow-up appointments to monitor progress. Continual monitoring facilitates adjustment of patient dosages and assists in evaluating patient progress, including the management of side effects.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
Aura Laser Skin Care has established the following monthly fee structure for its GLP-1 weight loss program:
Semaglutide: $349 monthly (30-day supply)
Tirzepatide: $449 monthly (30-day supply)
Medical provider supervision accompanies every monthly medication supply; however, the frequency of consultation/physician visits will vary according to individual treatment plans. Dosage adjustments during the treatment period are common based on individual response, tolerance, and progress toward achieving weight loss goals. Overall, due to the nature of the medication and supervision, the program pricing structure is calculated around a 30-day supply of the medication only.
