Oliak Center for Weight Loss is established by Dr. David Oliak, a board-certified bariatric surgeon who has expertise in both robotic and laparoscopic weight loss surgery. The weight loss center provides weight loss solutions to patients from across the world, as well as patients with low BMI. They combine superior surgery expertise with excellent patient support and hospital partners for successful results.
At the moment, Oliak Center for Weight Loss is on a sabbatical “for an extended period of time.”
They partner with only the top bariatric surgery facilities and outpatient centers that are known for high-quality patient care, superior service, and desired outcomes. Their outpatient surgery center is specifically designed for bariatric surgery, with advanced bariatric equipment, 24/7 nursing facilities, and 4 well-facilitated overnight rooms.
Their weight loss surgery program encompasses pre-and post-operative education, surgery, and follow-up with Dr. David Oliak. For long-lasting results, they combine bariatric surgery with healthy eating and exercise habits.

Gastric Sleeve Surgery: If you have a BMI of 30 or greater, or require losing 50 pounds or more, gastric sleeve surgery is the best option. Dr. Oliak’s gastric sleeve expertise has an average success rate of 71-72%, which stands out from the industry average of 20%.

Dr. David Oliak is a fellowship-trained and board-certified bariatric surgeon who is an expert in minimally-invasive robotic and laparoscopic weight loss surgery. He has been practicing in Orange County, California, since 2022 and has successfully completed over 3000 weight loss surgeries with a track record of excellent patient outcomes.
He pursued his medical degree from the prestigious Washington University and was awarded the Dr. Harvey Butcher Prize in Surgery. He operates only at MBSAQIP-accredited bariatric surgery center of excellence (COE) hospitals, and their own bariatric surgery outpatient surgery center.
Support After Surgery
For bariatric surgery to deliver effective and long-term results, it is crucial for the patient to make a lifelong and serious commitment to good health. Therefore, Oliak Center for Weight Loss focuses on comprehensive patient, motivational support, and post-surgery follow-up. They provide follow-up during the first year of the surgery and then ongoing support after the first year.
At the moment Oliak Center is not displaying their costs for self-pay bariatric surgery.
