Medical Director
The Leadership Team of Northwest Weight & Wellness Center has many years of experience working together. The medical leadership team consists of board certified bariatric surgeons and obesity medicine specialists. On the medical staff, one of the leading bariatric surgeons is Devorah Alana Chock, MD, FACS, FASMBS, who is a board certified bariatric surgeon who performs minimally invasive weight loss surgery and was part of the clinical team that created the long-term obesity treatment program. All of the physicians and practitioners in the clinic develop individually tailored treatment plans for each patient based on their health history and weight loss objectives.
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
A physician-directed, comprehensive medical weight loss programme offers patients a broad selection of options for treating obesity and metabolic disease without surgery. Included in this programme are FDA approved GLP-1 medications and additional prescription medications for appetite regulation, satiety, gradual and sustainable weight reduction.
Patients enrolled in the programme receive monthly check-ins with their provider, nutritional coaching from experienced metabolic coaches and will have access to a weight loss tracking App. The medical team uses a comprehensive approach to treat each patient based on their own medical history (including BMI), long term health/successful weight loss with emotional support and envelop the patient through their entire journey to help promote a long term weight loss solution.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
Northwest Weight & Wellness Center’s Medical Weight Loss Program typically costs around $5 per day, and the cost of medications can range from $150 – $400 each month based on the type of prescribed medication, dosage, insurance coverage, and treatment length. The clinic also provides a consultative service for patients interested in having bariatric surgery, which includes assistance with insurance verification, financing options and connecting patients with appropriate resources for their needs.
