For more than thirty years, Louisville Center for Weight Loss has provided community residents with physician-supervised weight management programs tailored to each patient’s personal goals. Their focus is on developing medically supervised weight-loss programs that include individualized nutrition counseling, exercise recommendations, and prescription medication to achieve successful results. The walk-in model at the clinic allows patients access to weight-loss treatment without having to schedule an appointment with their doctor. Each medical weight-loss program created by the clinic is based on a patient’s current health status, desired weight loss amount, and lifestyle.
In addition to complete weight management, the clinic also provides financing through CareCredit, and offers complimentary Lipo-B12 injections to active-duty military and veterans on their first visit, and their immediate family.
Medical Director
Dr. George Stege III, MD, has over forty years of experience providing patients with medical weight management and primary care. Dr. Stege has developed three physician-supervised medical weight-loss programs (Medications, Nutrition, and Exercise) that allow patients to lose weight safely with the use of appropriate medications, dietary counseling, and exercise. Dr. Stege’s extensive training and experience allow him to provide a trusted source for patients wishing to lose weight through non-surgical methods.
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
Louisville Center for Weight Loss provides various medications that are FDA approved and prescribed by physicians that aid in managing weight through prescription only medications. Some of the GLP-1 medications include Semaglutide (compounding vitamin B6), Wegovy® (compounded), Tirzepatide, and Zepbound®. Aside from these medications, the Louisville Center for Weight Loss also prescribes other medical prescription weight-loss medications (Phentermine, Contrave, Qsymia, Topamax, Diucaps, DHEA, and previously Saxenda when needed). The medication is combined with an individualized meal plan; exercise; and ongoing physician’s evaluation of particular patients to provide safety and long-term success of losing weight.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
All services are fully disclosed in cost. An Initial visit for New Patient Consultation will be $109.95. Follow-up visits will cost $89.95. The price of the compounded Semaglutide monthly will be as follows — Month 1 and 2 – $175, Month 3 – $205, Month 4 – $260, and Month 5 – $295, based on increased dosage amounts. If you are using your insurance for the Brand name Injectables, you may also incur a prior-authorized administrative fee of $50, if applicable.
