LifeMD has helped hundreds of thousands of patients get their medical appointments on the same day and also offers lab tests at cheaper rates, prescription medication, and medical support throughout the patients’ illnesses.
Medical Director
Anthony Puopolo MD serves not only as Chief Medical Officer for LifeMD but also as the President of the LifeMD Affiliated Professional Corporations. With extensive experience covering telemedicine, medicine, and psychiatry, Dr. Puopolo is a board-certified family doctor with a specialization in integrative wellness. After obtaining an undergrad in Biology at Tufts University and a masters’ degree in Biology from Boston University, he became an MD at the Boston University School of Medicine. His training was followed by Family Medicine/ Psychiatry residency which he did through the army hospital, Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. Later, Puopolo further deepened his knowledge on the field of medicine by getting a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the very renowned Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona.
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
LifeMD’s Weight Management Program is all-inclusive and designed for prescription medication weight loss for adults who are candidates. LifeMd’s medical staff will first evaluate the patient online to determine whether the treatment plan is eligible. Then, based on the evaluation, they will offer treatment plans personalized to each patient’s characteristics, which can include GLP-1 medications like Wegovy Ozempic Zepbound Mounjaro Saxenda or compounded versions in the event that a legal source is available. LifeMd also supports its members by doing insurance check-ups besides allowing payment in cash for those who don’t have insurance.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
Every aspect of the program is personalized to your medical history, weight goals, and your clinical requirements, with provider communication, prescription coordination, blood-work monitoring, progress monitoring and lifestyle advice being included. The first month of lifeMd’s WeightManagement Program costs about $75 as standard membership fees are usually around $149 per month. But, the exact price depends on the type of package selected and the offers going on at any particular time.
Patient Reviews
LifeMD has generally received positive feedback for their healthcare provider’s professionalism, convenient virtual appointments, responsive customer care, and a clear telehealth process. A number of patients say they are happy with the weight management program, medication delivery speed, and continued clinical oversight. Right now, there isn’t much lifeMD presence on Yelp and that is the reason no in-depth review analysis can be done from there. On Google, the reviews are also scarce because the firm mainly functions via nationwide telehealth services rather than being a single physical clinic.
