The medical director of the Khalifa Centers, Dr. Kimberley L Bolling, MD, is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has experience in the field of Internal Medicine as well as specialization in physician-supervised weight reduction and preventive health care for patients who suffer from obesity. Dr. Bolling uses a complete and thorough process to assess the patient’s overall health status, evaluate all medical conditions contributing to obesity, and develop an individualized treatment program. In addition to overall clinical testing related to the patient, Dr. Bolling provides nutritional education and behavioral modification to support sustainable weight loss as well as improve the overall health of all patients.

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

Doctor Bolling’s weight loss programs include medically supervised prescription medications, such as anti-GLP-1 medications, when appropriate. Each treatment plan is individualized by starting with a detailed history and physical examination, including EKG (electrocardiogram), laboratory research blood panels (such as thyroid screening and complete metabolic panels), and body composition testing. The patient will have the opportunity to monitor their progression through monthly follow-up appointments and if necessary, allow the doctor to make adjustments based on this assessment.
