Medical Director

Ali Buchanan, RN, Co-Owner and Lead Aesthetic Provider at Halo Med Spa, has over twenty-five years of nursing experience and has a wealth of clinical knowledge and compassion for her patients. Throughout her career in nursing, Ali has always worked in oncology or as an educator to assist her patients through education and to create an environment that is built around her practice style as a patient-centered practitioner. As an Injectable Aesthetic Nurse, Ali uses her extensive experience and expertise in the area of injectables to provide her clients with natural-looking results while additionally enhancing her clients’ sense of self-confidence, their well-being, and their health through injectables.

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

Halo Med Spa offers medically supervised weight loss programs that include two distinct approaches using GLP-1 medications: microdosing and weight optimization. Microdosing is a gentle way to use GLP-1 to promote metabolic balance, reduce inflammation, and promote overall health. Whereas, with weight optimization, a full dose of Tirzepatide is provided along with a more comprehensive medically supervised pathway for medically supervised weight loss as well as an individualized medical management plan.

Both programs provide medical supervision, provider check-in visits, and personalized dose adjustments. Each patient will have an initial consultation that includes blood work so that their individualized treatment plan can be developed based on the results of their blood work. Some patients may also benefit from B12 + MICC injections and IV Therapy for hydration, increased energy, recovery, and replenishment of nutrients.

Weight Loss Program Pricing

Fixed pricing for all of the GLP-1 and medically supervised weight loss programs is not publicly available. Consultation appointments and lab work are included in the cost of the program, and the patient will be provided with their own individualized treatment plan that meets their goals and medical needs.
