Medical Director

Bethany Starks DNP APRN, FNP-C, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, is the founding and managing partner of Grace Wellness. From the communities of Bullard in particular to those in Tyler and Flint, she’s helped these medically underserved locations through her personal and professional medical practice for nearly two decades. Dr Starks received her initial academic credential, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner license from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She later pursued the highest qualification in the field and became a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University. 

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

Grace Wellness only runs a medically supervised, directive weight-loss coaching program for patients who have an on-going relationship with the clinic. The coaching consists of customized meal planning, personal prescription medication choices, perpetual accountability and regular physician’s check-ups that are all aimed for the patients to retain their new weight permanently. Besides, the clinic is doing a check of both food sensitivities and gut health evaluation for those whose weight problems may stem from their digestion problems. The clinic understands that the prescription drugs have also to match the patients for the health problems they face. The clinic also doesn’t clarify what GLP-1 medications for example semaglutide or tirzepatide are used for. Still, following a complete medical examination, the doctors customize treatment to your particular requirements.
