Overview
Forever Weight Loss is a medically monitored non-surgical weight loss program located in Houma, Louisiana. They have a mission to assist people with achieving a long-term reduction in their weight through medically supervised, individualized nutritional plans, nutritional education, and ongoing support offered by an educationally trained team. Their philosophy covers educating their patients on how to live an overall healthy lifestyle and also to decrease their body fat percentage.
Medical Director
The medical side of the program is overseen by Donald Schwab Jr., MD, FACS, with the assistance of Pam Breaux, RN, MSN. Dr. Schwab monitors the medical side of the program and works with the patients to provide safe and effective care while using a team of medical professionals to monitor the patients’ progress, provide nutritional education, and assist in keeping the patients motivated to be successful in making long-term changes in their lives.
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
Patients at Forever Weight Loss can expect to find a medically supervised weight management program that is tailored to their specific weight loss goals and health conditions. In addition to providing patients with access to FDA approved weight loss injections (including Zepbound), the clinic also has structured low-calorie diet programs. The target patients are adults who are overweight or obese and who have health issues related to their being overweight/obese (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, hyperlipidemia).
Forever Weight Loss’s New Direction Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) program includes nutritionally complete meal replacements (i.e., meal replacement bars and shakes) that are designed to help manage weight. Patients participating in this program will be monitored by trained staff at each of their regularly scheduled follow-up appointments, where the staff will track amounts of weight lost, laboratory test results, and overall health. In addition to providing patients with VLCDs, Forever Weight Loss also has a Modified Low Calorie Diet (MLCD) program that combines the use of MLCDs with other types of foods, allowing for more flexibility and variety.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
Forever Weight Loss does not publish product pricing on their website for their weight loss injections or dietary program. They do, however, encourage interested patients to schedule a consultation with their team to discuss their weight-loss goals and determine if the patient qualifies for their program. Patients are also not able to use insurance for their weight loss program; however, they can request an itemized receipt that may be used for potential reimbursement through wellness or insurance programs.
Patient Reviews

Additionally, many of the patients testified to having lost considerable amounts of weight and improved their overall health while completing one of the programs at Forever Weight Loss.
