Overview
FIT Medical Weight Loss is a physician-based clinic that specializes in creating personalized medical programs for people to assist them in losing weight instead of using dangerous and unrealistic fads. Our program consists of medical evaluations, nutrition guidance, the addition of vitamins/supplements as needed, prescription medications to assist with weight loss, injectable weight-loss medications if appropriate, and other lifestyle modifications.
The FIT Medical Weight Loss program begins with a full evaluation, which includes reviewing medical history, current medications, measuring weight and BMI, checking blood pressure, measuring body fat percentage, and completing any required medical evaluations necessary to create the best individual program for the patient. Ongoing support is provided to patients through regular follow-ups, monitoring of progress, coaching, and modification of the program when necessary.
Medical Director
Tracy Varley Nymeyer is the owner of the FIT Medical Weight Loss program. She is the president/owner of FIT Medical Weight Loss and created the entire program using evidence-based weight loss management principles that incorporate medical supervision, nutritional strategies, appetite control, and long-term lifestyle changes.
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
FIT Medical Weight Loss provides various medical weight management solutions that utilize prescription medications. They have both GLP-1 medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide. Semaglutide is administered once a week with the intended purpose of decreasing appetite and cravings to facilitate weight reduction along with changes in lifestyle.
The Semaglutide program requires patients medical evaluations, weight, and BMI monitoring; as well as periodic diabetes assessments, weight, and health evaluations by a qualified physician or provider. Additionally, the program includes ultra-b12 injections, providing comprehensive medication management by an educated physician/provider, and comprehensive review of all medical charts.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
FIT Medical Weight Loss does not publicly display the fixed/regular fees for any of its programs online. However, the clinic will inform prospective clients about the pricing for the Semaglutide and Tirzepatide programs including the monthly fee for medications, which should be typically less than the expense of buying commercial brand name medications without prescription insurance. HSA & FSA payments are available to be paid through the clinic when accepted, but the clinic does not accept insurance directly. Please contact the clinic directly for current program fees, medication prices, and other payment options.
Patient Reviews
FIT Medical Weight Loss has been recognized by its patients as having successfully helped them lose weight through excellent service provided by their supportive team and the ease of following their program. Patients have successfully lost a large amount of weight, changed their eating habits considerably, and have been able to maintain the loss they achieved after completing the program. A patient from the clinic noted losing 30 pounds in only a few months with the support of the staff continuing beyond the weight loss program. Public reviews found at the clinic and on Google and Yelp contained common themes of encouragement, support from the staff, and appreciation for a structured way to manage weight.
