Empowered Med Spa is a medical spa based in Tacoma that strives to help clients improve their appearance, wellbeing, and self-confidence through individualized aesthetic and medical treatments. Medical Director

The Medical Director of Empowered Med Spa is Shannon Keenan, ARNP (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner), who was also one of the Founders of the Med Spa. Shannon Keenan brings a wealth of medical knowledge from her prior experience as an ICU Registered Nurse and utilizes her clinical knowledge in the field of aesthetics to provide superlative patient care and manage medical treatments provided by Empowered Med Spa.

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

Empowered Med Spa offers medical weight loss programs tailored for each patient’s needs and goals. The clinic understands that many different things can interfere with weight management, such as a person’s health status, stress levels, medications taken, and types of lifestyles.

Provider supervision will be used for all treatments. Treatment options for this program include GLP-1 therapy, IV infusions, MICC (metformin) injections, nutrition guidance and/or referrals to health coaches or other professionals for additional support. Patient treatment begins with an evaluation to determine if GLP-1 therapy or an alternative weight loss option is right and safe for them.

Weight Loss Program Pricing

Below is the list of prices for Empowered Med Spa’s medical weight loss program:

• Initial Consultation: $50 (in-person or virtual consultation to determine eligibility for treatment)
• First Provider Visit: $200 (includes health history review, medication education, physical assessment, vitals, measurements, and wellness planning)
• Monthly ARNP Visits: $130 (required for continued treatment monitoring)
• Weight Loss Medication: Starting at $180 per 4 weeks (pricing may vary depending on medication availability and pharmacy costs)
• Additional Weight Loss Shot Administration: $20 per weekly injection
• B12 Injection Add-On: $20 per weekly injection
• B12 + Weight Loss Shot Combination: $40 per week
• Self-Administration Injection Training: $50 one-time fee
• IV Therapy Add-On: $175 per infusion
