Medical Director
Tina Brown, a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), is the founder of Elite Total Wellness and is a principal provider at the clinic. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis and graduated magna cum laude in 2013. Prior to starting and expanding Elite Total Wellness in 2017, Tina gained extensive clinical experience at Baptist Memorial Hospital, located in Collierville. Additionally, she is also actively involved in the Greater Memphis Area Advanced Practicing Nurses Association and has a strong focus on providing patient-centric healthcare and wellness.
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
Elite Total Wellness, provides tailored weight-loss programs with physician oversight for each client’s unique health, goals, and financial situation. Gaining insight into the patient through physician support at each step (individual consultation to adjust medication) and duration of care (frequency of follow-ups).
Licensing requirements for each of the weight-loss medications prescribed at Elite Total Wellness varies by location. Medications prescribed may include any of the weight-loss medications within the GLP-1 family of medications (i.e., compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide, Wegovy, Zepbound), if qualified based on medical necessity and personally wish to consider medications. The action of GLP-1 medications on the physiology of the body aids weight management with lifestyle change modifications.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
The price of the weight-loss medications prescribed at Elite Total Wellness depends on the types of the medications, dose or quantity per month, and which specific treatment plan a patient qualifies for. The published price for medical weight-loss programs is approximately $80+ per month; prescribed GLP-1 weight-loss medications typically cost: compounded semaglutide will generally cost $150/month or more; tirzepatide will generally cost $250/month or more; required follow-up visits are billed separately.
Prior to prescribing any weight-loss medications, Elite Total Wellness will conduct a consultation and provide the patient with a breakdown of the prescribed medications’ monthly costs to see the patient’s most appropriate medications and payment plan options.
