Dr. Chlysta is a Clinical Associate Professor of General Surgery at Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Northeastern Ohio Medical University and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Toledo Medical School.
Dr. Walter J. Chlysta earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Pre-medicine at Kent State University. He then earned his Doctorate of Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
