Dr. Michael H. Wood is medical director of the Bariatric Surgery Program at Harper University Hospital and of the American Bariatric Medicine Institute.

Wood earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Indiana Tech in 1968. He graduated from Meharry Medical College and completed an internship, fellowship, and residency at DMC Harper University Hospital.
