Dr. Caitlin Polistena, MD

Dr. Caitlin Polistena, MD, is the newest member of the PSSL team. She has a strong interest in weight loss surgery, hernia surgery, and surgery for the treatment of acid reflux. She has advanced training in laparoscopic weight loss surgery.

Dr. Polistena received her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College in 2007 and her medical degree from New York Medical College in 2014. She completed surgical residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY in 2019 and went on to complete a minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida.
