The Discovery Medical Center has a full program for loss of weight medically. This program will help to address metabolism, appetite control, diet, and way of life.
The weight loss programs at the Discovery Medical Center include FDA approved medications such as Semaglutide and Contrave®, both of which can be used to help with weight loss through the doctor’s monitoring. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 medication that will both help to assist you in weight loss by regulating how hungry you are (appetite) and supplying you with a full feeling after you have eaten. In addition, Semaglutide helps blood sugars to stay at a healthy level. Contrave® is a medication that affects the brain’s reward system so as to reduce hunger or appetite for whatever you’d like to eat.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
The Discovery Medical Center does not publish a price list for Semaglutide or Contrave® medications or for their medical weight loss programs on their website, however they do encourage anyone interested in the program to schedule an appointment to get a customized treatment plan and individualized pricing.
The price of the program will depend on the type of medication prescribed (Semaglutide or Contrave®), the required dosage, the length of treatment, and whether or not other services (nutrition coaching, hormone replacement therapy, or rehab). Each patient will have his own customized treatment plan and price.
