The founder of Botany Wellness is Dr. Jennifer Ukwu, MD, a board-certified physician in both Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine who has expertise in treating obesity as a chronic disease and establishing personalized weight loss plans suited to each patient’s medical history. Dr. Ukwu utilizes medical evaluations, medication when deemed necessary, nutritional information and coaching to work directly with each patient toward their goal of long-term weight loss through professionally-managed medically supervised approaches.

At Botany Wellness, medically supervised weight loss programs are offered through the use of FDA approved GLP-1 medications such as Wegovy (semaglutide) and Zepbound (tirzepatide), which are designed to assist with regulating appetite, enhancing fullness and aiding in metabolic function to lead to gradual weight loss. The weight loss program provided by Botany Wellness includes physician consultations, ongoing medical supervision, nutrition support and compounded medication options when indicated. Patients can receive patient care using either in person or virtual appointments, allowing patients to have treatment available across multiple states.

Weight Loss Program Pricing

The structured weight loss membership program at Botany Wellness costs approximately $199 per month. Membership includes physician-led care, prescription management, ongoing support services, access to FDA approved medications, nutritional guidance, body composition analysis via bio-impedance and clinical follow ups. Pricing is fully transparent; hidden fees do not exist in regards to membership. Medication costs may be separate from membership costs (depending on treatment plan and pharmacy source).
