About Dr. Jaime Ponce
Dr. Jaime Ponce is a general surgeon with a vivid experience of more than 23 years in bariatric procedures including the laparoscopic adjustable gastric band, gastric sleeve procedures, and endoscopic procedures like the intragastric balloon, revisional surgeries, and gastric bypass. He did his medical degree at I.T.E.S.M. School of Medicine in Monterrey, Mexico, and completed his residency in general surgery at East Tennessee State University.
Dr. Ponce has served the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery from 2012-2013 as president and was also a founding member of the ASMBS Tennessee State Chapter. He was associated with the International Federation for Surgery of Obesity North America Chapter. He has also served as medical director of the bariatric surgery program at Hamilton Medical Center. Dr. Ponce was also a part of clinical trials of the ReShape Balloon.

Dr. Rishabh Shah is a general surgeon who earned his medical degree from the University Of Carolina School Of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Shah did his internship at the University of Washington in Seattle and completed his residency in general surgery at Cleaveland Clinic Florida. Brooke Henson, Nurse Practioner at CHI Memorial Group has received her degree in Master of Science in Nursing in family medicine from Southern Adventist University.
