Overview

Rume Health is a virtual health care and wellness clinic that allows patients to get the care they need from anywhere in the U.S. Rume Medical Group provides primary care, assisted living, mental health support, addiction care (MAT) and weight loss solutions through its degree network of medical professionals.

Rume allows patients to have access to their provider through telehealth services, making it quick and easy for them to get the care they need via video consultations and completing an intake form to make it easy to get matched with the right medical provider for a custom care plan.

Matthew Abinante, DO, MPH – Founder & Physician

Dr. Matthew Abinante, DO, MPH is the Founder of Rume Health. He has a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) as well as a Master’s of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on expanding access to health care through telehealth, combining clinical care with public health approach. He has additional expertise in preventive medicine and addiction medicine as well as telemedicine, which allows him to assist in both immediate care and long-term care solutions. Dr. Abinante focuses on patient access and education by utilizing personalized treatment plans for each of his patients.

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

Rume Health offers telehealth-based weight loss services that include medical consultations, lifestyle guidance, and prescription support when appropriate. The services provide both clinical supervision and patient behaviour modification to assist patients in losing weight. 

To facilitate weight loss, patients may receive treatment plans that involve appetite control, nutrition education, and ongoing monitoring by providers. Because the services are all provided via telehealth, patients may access care from wherever they may be without having to travel to obtain any physical services.

Rume Health provides its patients with a clear and straightforward subscription-based pricing model for its weight loss services with the following options:

Standard Rate: approximately $396/month 

Employee/partner plans: approximately $280/month 

The typical cost of a telehealth consultation is $99 (though each specific service may have different pricing). Depending on the level of provider participation, and any medications prescribed, the actual cost of the service may vary based on the type of program selected. The subscription model provides patients with access to ongoing care (including follow-up consultations) and support throughout the entire process of losing weight.
