Dr. Mailapur has been an approved American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Bariatric Center of Excellence (COE) Surgeon since 2004. He is Board Certified in General Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the ASMBS.
