Dr. Dena Arumugam, MD

Dr. Arumugam is a board-certified general surgeon, specialized in minimally invasive surgery, general surgery and bariatric surgery and has more than 10 years of experience. Her surgical skills are in – hernias, gallbladder disease, skin problems, soft tissue disease, along with intestinal and colon abnormalities. She is also skilled in laparoscopic surgery techniques as well as da Vinci® robotic surgery.

Dr. Dena Arumugam did her Medical Degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her Surgical Residency training from the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She got her Fellowship Training in advanced gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery, from New York University Winthrop Hospital.
