Dr. Daniel Wool, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with more than 12 years of experience. He is highly skilled in trauma and critical care. His area of surgical expertise includes – hernia, foregut, colon, bariatric, as well as advanced laparoscopic and robotic cases.
Dr. Wool graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Rush Medical College, graduating in the top third of his class. He completed his residency in general surgery at Rush University Medical Center and Cook County Hospital. He then went on to finish a fellowship at Stanford University in minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
