Medical Director

JumpstartMD has a multidisciplinary medical staff consisting of obesity specialists who develop individualized weight loss plans for each individual. The medical leadership of JumpstartMD is composed of Sean Bourke, a triple board-certified physician who specializes in obesity medicine and weight management, who has spent his career advancing medically guided weight management techniques and is an advocate of developing personalized obesity treatments.

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

JumpstartMD offers many medically comprehensive weight loss options. Patients may utilize GLP-1 medications when indicated for use in addition to other weight loss resources. JumpstartMD prescribes several weight loss medications listed below for some patients based on their individual treatment plan. The following medications are commonly prescribed: Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, and Mounjaro.

Patients generally begin their treatment program with a comprehensive medical evaluation that includes their health history, goals, and any lab work completed before their first appointment. The health care provider will evaluate this information to develop an individualized plan of care. Individualized weight loss prescriptions are provided based on physician recommendations. 

Weight Loss Program Pricing

JumpstartMD does not offer a standard pricing structure for services provided to patients because of the many variables involved, such as the patient’s customized program design, patient needs within that customized program, and the types of prescribed medications used in a weight-loss program. Instead, JumpstartMD indicates that each patient’s plan is specific to his/her own health goals, and will consist of an initial medical evaluation and regular ongoing evaluations or follow-up appointments for the purpose of monitoring weight-loss progress and determining future prescribed medical treatments.
