Overview
Advanced Healthcare Associates is a Panama City Florida-based primary healthcare clinic that serves patients regardless of their age. The clinic provides compassionate patient-oriented healthcare through many services, including preventive, wellness and illness visits, immunizations, hormone optimization and medical weight loss management. The clinic strives to develop long-term relationships with patients and develop individualized healthcare plans based on their individual needs and goals.
The clinic provides wellness-oriented service geared towards improving a patient’s overall health, including a weight loss management program for patients that want to lose weight and improve their health. The clinic provides a medically supervised approach that combines the following four elements with lifestyle and nutritional counseling: medical supervision, lifestyle advising, nutritional advising and supporting documents.
Medical Director
Heather Taylor MSN, APRN, FNP-C is the founder and owner of Advanced Healthcare Associates. Heather has over 30 years of nursing experience in the family nurse practitioner specialty, and she is fully licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Heather completed her Nursing Associate Degree (ADN) from Gulf Coast State College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Jacksonville University, and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from South University in Savannah with high academic standing and membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. The other provider in the practice is Kathryn Boyce, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, who is also an approved and qualified Family Nurse Practitioner.
GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs
Advanced Healthcare Associates creates individualized programs to assist patients in achieving their desired weight loss and health goals. As part of the weight management plan, patients have access to prescription medication, specifically Semaglutide, and Lipo-MINO, and Lipo-Mic B12 injections (depending on the specific weight management plan chosen). Each program can include dietary counseling, exercise suggestions, and medical monitoring under an overall weight management strategy.
AHA offers a variety of weight loss packages for its established patients, allowing for the development of customized treatment plans that correspond to the patient’s individual goals and health conditions, as well as to practitioner recommendations.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
AHA has a number of weight loss packages that it promotes but does not publish any price for its Semaglutide, Lipo-MINO, and medical weight management programs on its website. Instead, it instructs patients to contact its office for a consultation to obtain this information, learn about eligibility, and receive package pricing based on their individual treatment plan.
Patient Reviews
The information on patient reviews available through the AHA website support the professionalism of the practice, positive patient interactions, a welcoming environment, and a personalized approach to patient care. Patients comment on Google and Yelp about the thoroughness of their office visits; knowledge and experience of the health care providers; the ability of the staff to communicate promptly and efficiently; and the support of the staff.
