Medical Director

East Hill Medical Group’s Medical Director is Frank Murphy, M.D., who has training and certification as a Board-Certified Internist with years of experience in Emergency Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from UMASS and then received his MD from UMASS Medical School. Dr. Murphy finished his residency in Internal Medicine at Berkshire Medical Center, where he then served as the Chief Resident prior to leaving for the U.S. Navy. His leadership abilities within the clinic assist in developing new programs related to wellness, aesthetics, and medical weight loss.

Prescription-based medical weight loss programs at the East Hill Medical Group emphasize sustainable weight loss through medical supervision, nutritional support, and lifestyle changes. You’ll work closely with our team of experienced providers, including Katherine Sunnenberg, APRN-C, and Jessica Locchead, PA-C, both of whom have specialized training in treating obesity. The focus of our clinic is on creating personalized treatment plans which may include prescription medications, metabolic support, nutrition counseling, and continued assessment. Although our website refers to prescription-based medical therapies for weight loss (including new evidence-based approaches), we encourage anyone interested to schedule an appointment to determine their eligibility for the prescribed weight-loss program best suited to their needs.

Weight Loss Program Pricing

All fees associated with the medical weight loss programs (including the Lipo Program) will be explained when you visit us. Current service rates are as follows:

Medical Weight Loss (Lipo Program – First Month): $215

Medical Weight Loss (Lipo Program – Renewal): $160

Lipotropic B-12 Injection: $30

Package of Four Lipotropic B-12 Injections: $100

Fees may differ from the above provided that you are prescribed any medication, require consulting services, laboratory testing, or individualized medical weight-loss treatment plans. All prices are subject to change.
