Medical Director

The Medical Director for Clear Immediate Care is Rinku Shah, DO, who co-founded Clear Immediate Care with her husband, Manan Trivedi, MD. Dr. Shah earned a Doctorate in Medicine from Nova Southeastern University and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Dr. Shah takes a preventive and patient-centred approach to healthcare and has additional expertise in ADHD and Mental Health. Her goal is to address each Patient’s Physical and Emotional Aspects of Wellness and develop meaningful long-term relationships with them.

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

At Clear Immediate Care, patients struggling with obesity, overweight, insulin resistance, hormonal imbalance and other weight loss-related issues can pursue weight loss management with the support of a medically supervised program. Each patient’s treatment plan is developed with input from a medical professional and may include lifestyle counselling, nutritional counselling, exercise counseling, and prescription medications for weight loss, including the use of GLP-1 medication injections such as Ozempic (semaglutide) and Zepbound. GLP-1 medications can assist in reducing appetite and increasing feelings of fullness, controlling cravings and aiding the body in maintaining a healthy metabolism when used in combination with a healthy diet and physical activity. When creating a treatment plan, providers will carefully assess a patient’s medical history and their individual weight loss goals.
