Dr. Roozbeh Ghavami, MD, MSc, MBA Co-Founding Physician of the Philly Med Club, is a highly respected, up-and-coming physician, and residency-trained/Internal Medicine physician. Dr. Ghavami practices in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and has a background in Hospital Medicine and Critical Care. Dr. Ghavami has received several awards in recognition of his academic excellence and competency, his patient care, and for demonstrating compassion to his patients while completing his residency. As a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Medical Society, he consistently achieves high patient satisfaction scores. He emphasizes communication, trust and individualization of care in all of his treatment plans.

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

Philly Med Club has physician-assisted weight loss programs which include medications called GLP-1s (semaglutide or tirzepatide). These medicines can aid in controlling hunger, improving metabolism, and achieving long-term weight reduction. Our weight management program typically consists of the following components: medical consultation, depending on the individual, lab testing, body composition tracking, and ongoing follow-up care. At the same time, our program incorporates weight loss therapy with other wellness services to provide a continuous level of support. Also, patients will obtain ongoing evaluations and customized changes throughout their entire program.

Weight Loss Program Pricing

Prices for GLP-1 and medical weight loss programs are not displayed on the Philly Med Club website. Pricing varies by medication type, dose, and individualised treatment plan. Patients are encouraged to schedule a consultation to discuss details of the treatment plan that will be most beneficial to them.
