Overview

Health Xpress Medical Center has developed a comprehensive weight loss program incorporating both clinical monitored care as well as other non-clinical supports including lifestyle, nutrition, and supplementary support services. Health Xpress provides services which are designed for each individual patient based upon the outcome of their medical evaluation. This evaluation aids in identifying the patient’s metabolic status, body composition, and other health factors that may be impacting their weight loss challenge, and provides a basis upon which to create a customized weight loss plan.

Contrary to quick fix methodologies, this program may include nutritional counseling, exercise plans, metabolic evaluations, supplementation of vitamins (including Vitamin B12 via injections), and the use of prescription medications designed to promote a long-term weight loss achievement. Patients will attend their scheduled check-in sessions to monitor changes in weight, inches, and body mass as they work toward achieving a healthy lifestyle.

The Owner/CEO of Health Xpress Medical Center is Jamie O’Connell. As a former paramedic and Army veteran committed to the provision of quality care, safety and personalized patient support, Jamie created this clinic. Jamie’s leadership of the clinic ensures that the structured, medically managed weight loss programs focus on addressing the underlying causes of weight-related problems as well as promoting a lifetime of wellness.

Other members of the Health Xpress team consist of qualified nurse practitioners who assist patients at both locations, providing patients with safe, individualized care at both locations.

GLP-1 and Medical Weight Loss Programs

Health Xpress Medical Center’s weight loss services have a medically supervised program for patients who want to lose weight. Glp-1’s are used within the weight-loss program through medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide to decrease the appetite; increase metabolism and provide continued weight loss. Each patient will have a medical evaluation before the prescriptions of these medications and will have a personalized care plan of action for them.

The weight-loss programs offered at Health Express Medical Center offer assistance in multiple components such as nutrition, lifestyle coaching, and vitamin and/or medication supplementation (B12 injections), with additional support for energy and metabolic functions.

Weight Loss Program Pricing

Health Xpress Medical Center has a transparent pricing structure for its weight-loss services. The costs per month for each Tirzepatide oral therapy medication include the following:

• 5 mg: approximately $400

• 10 mg: approximately $500

• 15 mg: approximately $600

The Zepbound GLP-1 program is offered at $349/month for 2.5 mg and $499/month for higher dosages (5–15 mg).

The office visits cost $150 per visit, however there are also discounted packages available for multiple visits, which are offered at the following: 

• 3-month plan = $400
• 6-month plan = $800 (includes free B12 injections)
• 12-month plan = $1650 (also includes free B12 injections)

There are also other services available, including B12 injections ($75) and Phentermine provider visits ($150) with medication expenses billed separately.
