He is a member of the American Society of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. About Dr. Amit Trivedi: Dr. Amit Trivedi is a board-certified surgeon and has done his graduation from SUNY Stony Brook University in New York, and received his internship and residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He earned a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Trivedi is also a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. About Dr. Douglas R. Ewing: Dr. Douglas R. Ewing is a general surgeon specializing in bariatric surgery. He did his graduation from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. Dr. Ewing completed his internship and residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center and earned his fellowship in minimally invasive surgery from Hackensack University Medical Center. He is a member of the American Society of Surgeons and is the Division Chief of Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Ewing also serves as an assistant professor at Hackensack.
